Our stay at Við Lónið Guesthouse was a blast! The homemade preserves at nearby cafés were divine, paired beautifully with fresh local bread. Plus, the stunning fjord views from our balcony amplified the charm. The room's Scandinavian minimalist design was a dream, making for a cozy retreat after a day of exploring.
Though the lively street outside was a tad noisy, it only added to the town's character. One heads-up, if you visit in February, come prepared with shoe chains. the iciness of the road was a surprise we could've done without!

The views from our balcony room were breathtaking, overlooking the scenic bay. My kids loved the clean facilities and ample space in our room, which comfortably housed all seven of us. The complimentary chocolate bars were a delightful touch too.
My wife says that it would be great if they offered breakfast options for families.

The room showcased elegant Scandinavian minimalist design, with original wood furnishings creating a warm atmosphere. Stunning views of the lagoon and Rainbow Street were a highlight, complemented by a well-appointed bathroom. However, the room lacked sufficient storage—a couple of hangers were insufficient, and the absence of any glasses made for a disjointed experience. Additionally, no breakfast options were available on-site, which made planning for meals necessary.

Comfortable Oasis with Stunning Views
Spent two nights in a beautiful double room with a breathtaking mountain view. Clean and spacious, perfect for relaxing after exploring the quiet village. Found delightful local bistros nearby. A great tip, check the weather before arriving during foggy conditions.

Our stay was amazing, especially with the beautiful balcony overlooking the mountains and the cozy, well-designed room that made us feel right at home. The lovely garden offered a peaceful spot to unwind, and I appreciated the nice coffee machine in the room. Only downside was some street congestion from tourists in the morning, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. I definitely recommend taking a moment to enjoy the views!

Just a nice choice for a short layover in Seythisfjorthur with outstanding value. The host, Maggie, was waiting for us when we arrived, which was a nice touch. Remember to check out the nearby Nordic Restaurant for a yummy local breakfast.

The stay was remarkable with a clean and spacious room featuring a couch for relaxation, adding comfort after long drives. Enjoying the Northern Lights from the balcony while sipping a beer was an unforgettable experience. However, navigating the foggy mountain conditions was challenging, which made arrival and departure a bit stressful, coupled with limited dining options in the area. The complimentary Milka chocolate bar was a thoughtful touch, but I wished for more variety in local restaurants.
